My review on the Dyson DC24 Ball My wife talked me into buying this Dyson Vacuum. Let me just say that I was less than excited to spend so much money on a vacuum cleaner. Now that I have seen the results for myself, I'm glad we did. My wife vacuumed with the old DIrt Devil before, and then with the Dyson after. When comparing the dirt bins, the Dyson contained more dirt than the Dirt Devil even AFTER the DIrt Devil was already run 10 minutes prior ...
...never looses suction. And the most impressive feature, I thought, was the 17 foot extendable attatchment hose. It extended up 20 steps! Without having to carry the vacuum along with her. I accept using abounding vacuums, including the accepted suspects (Hoover, Bissel, Eureka, Oreck, Kenmore, etc) and newer models like the Dyson. As i used this cac, i came across both weakness and strengths ... Pros It captures lot of dirt and performs well with regular work like emptying, maintenance and cleaning . I just received one of these and have been playing around with it for the last two weeks to see what it is capable of. What I love... Power- The suction on this tiny hand vac is amazing. This is a product that everyone must have! I am on my second one because I simply wore my first one out! I am still amazed at how great this little machine works! I have hardwood floors and tile floors and this little machine cleans both excellent! The ease of use is unremarkable. It picks up both wet and dry. ...As a vacuum, the Hoover does not work well. Turning the unit to the dry vacuum function will allow it to pick up small crumbs, but not much else. A floor would still need to be swept or vacuumed before using the Hoover. As a mop, the Hoover is fantastic. Fill the clean tank with a tiny amount of cleaning solution and warm water. The Hoover solution works best, but I've had success with other mopping solutions too. Turn the machine to the wet mopping ...
