Using social networking websites

Advantages: connecting with people from all over the world, common bonds, new friendships
Disadvantages: not being able to meet people in person, stalkers and predators

When I finally got my own computer last year, like many people I was drawn to joining all those social networking websites and practically joined everyone of them. My first really memorable one was of course MySpace. I think there's hardly a person who has internet access that doesn't belong to this site. Like all social networking sites, this is a great place to join, meet new friends, and perhaps even discover people you hadn't heard of from years. ...

He said he use Myspace.com to communicate and to keep in touch with some of our friends who were also a Myspace members lives far from his place.
