The Allstate Sugar Bowl ( previously the BSFG financial and Nokia Sugar Bowl) is one of the neat bowl games in college football. It is played annually in January in New Orleans Louisiana ( previously in Atlanta and Tulane Stadium). It hosts the SEC champion unless they are involved in the national championship title game. ...decided in the Sugar Bowl in 1993, 2000, and 2004. Call me biased, but the best of these was when Alabama whipped a heavily favored Miami team. Running back Derrik Lassic of Alabama was the MVP of that game. I have went to one of these games. Unfortunately Alabama was not in the game I went to. It was lots of fun.
