Kingston DT100- fast but less safe
Review of Kingston Technology DT100/4GB by
sayantan04
Advantages: fast,compatible with all versions
Disadvantages: not safe
Kingston's DataTraveler100 was designed to make the process of data transfer much more simple , without any passwords or built in softwares, from USB to pc or laptops. This plug and play device was designed to take full advantage of the USB 2.0 HiSpeed transfer rate. It normal operates within 32-140F and can be stored between -4-185F. The DT100 comes with a five year warranty just in case anything might happen to it. It is compatible to most all ... ...OS, and Linux, note that it's compatible with vista but not the ready boot feature with vista. The Kingston's DT100 is offered in various sizes ranging from one to eight gigabytes. The only disadvantage is the lack of security without the AES-256 Encryption. But such device is a better of option from $11-14....anything more than this is not worth it. ...

master1112
Advantages: easy to use, fast, nice, password protect
Disadvantages: none
I have bought this SanDisk USB flash drive to replace my old one which only had 512MB. I use it for work and personal objective. it looks very nice and preforms as described. it seem sturdier than other flash drives I've had. I am very happy with this purchase. This USB drive is very fast and the fact the USB connection is retractable is very convenient. 4GB is more than enough for me. The drive is small and is no cap to worry about losing or breaking ... ...applications from various websites such as Open Office and use them anywhere. It's also nice to be able to password protect your data. If you are looking for a flash memory that saves your data for a long time and prevent it from damage, SanDisk would be your best choice. ...

Review of Kingston Technology DT100/1GB by
seriousguy
Advantages: Lovely design, good compatibility, easy to carry, acceptable speed
Disadvantages: Has no more advantage on price comparing with others
This product came with my laptop. Nowadays, 1GB USB flash drive are floating around the industry. But, what is your main choice when you buy one? Capacity, speed or size?
OK, this USB I used is great, I am satisified with the reading and writeing speed, and its lovely little size.
I love the design that I never lose the cap (I have experienced on losing the cap of the USB driver). This USB does not weigh too heavy, and it is easy to keep in a place.
... ...home and offices, and I found no difficultlies, I just simply insert it into USB adapoter, and it works.
I need that nowadays, the USB flash driver with 1GB has no more advantage when comparing with these 2,4, or even 8GB falsh driver.
But, if you do not have too many files to store, this is still a good choice. ...

Sandisk Cruzer Micro 4GB
Review of SanDisk SDCZ6-4096-AW11 by
buzzard
Advantages: Small, compact, lightweight, No cap
Disadvantages: U3 System is useless for some people
I bought two of these Sandisk Cruzer Micro 4GB at Amazon.com for about $40 each. USB flash drives with large storage capacities are really expensive nowadays. I now notice that an 8GB Cruzer is already available or probably a 16GB on some brands. This flash drive is great for students who are on the go. With no need for a cap, you don't have to worry about this drive being capless. It is realible and fast. It also comes with a U3 drive which allows ... ...applications. With the fact that when I feel lazy carrying my heavy laptop around and have to use the terminals/computers at the university, I can just plug this small drive in and use the applications that I wanted to use without installing them on the computer. Only thing is that when you are not the type of wants to use those portable applications, you might find the U3 annoying, formatting the drive itself won't remove the partition where the ...
