Advantages: last a while and get ahold of someone that u can't find

These 2 way radios are nice to have around the house or even if you go into a store or at the flea market. I have used mine when my husband has went out in the yard and I could not find him. This is the only way I could get a hold of him to let him know that supper was done. Or if we went to the flea market and we decided to go our own ways. ...in the set. Midland is an excellent brand and we had never had problems with their products before but it was our first experience with their brand and a two way radio. We currently own Motorola's . The problem was it had very little range no matter how we tried to tweak it. I have bought some of these a while ago to use. They really come in handy when I am working in the yard and can't be found. The will go pretty far in distance and they are very nice to have. When I'm in the yard cutting grass or working in the trees or doing other things. It is nice to have for my wife to get a hold of me and the reception does really well.
