Trace Adkins is an american country music singer from Louisiana born in 1962. In addition he has done several cameo roles on tv and was on the celebrity version of the aprentice finishing second. After college, he also played football, he went to work as an oil rigger. While working he lost his left pinky finger. He had the Dr. reconnect it so he could continue to pick the guitar. I am sure he lost a bit of it and probably does not do much schredding but he can play rythem as evidence from his shows. According to surces he was pretty wild and got into lots of bar fights and sustained several injuries. As someone who used to go to country bars in the rural deep south, I assure you they can get rough.

His music is, in my opinion, is very monostyled. I love country and that is fine. His music is country with some blues and rock and roll elements to it. I am not a huge fan but do enjoy lots of his music. He plays the guitar and does write some of his own lyrics and melodies. This is very uncommon in music these days.

A couple of my favorite songs of his that I would reccomend include I got my game on, Every light in the house is on, and your gonna miss this. Definatley tradition country
