Multi Linear Digital Convergence system provides virtually perfect corner-to-corner convergence for the best possible focus, and superior picture quality. TheaterBright screen, utilizing a double-lenticular (two-lens) configuration, is tinted for increased contrast, and incorporates a surface layer diffuser (SLD), which concentrates the tinting on a thinner layer of the surface of the screen. The result is a high-resolution, high-brightness screen with a wide 160-degree viewing angle for use in any room. Built-in high-contrast TheaterShield acrylic shield protects the screen. Unlike some standard shields, the TheaterShield incorporates a special hard coat to resist scratching. Toshiba's TheaterView TVs are designed to offer the ultimate in image quality. Flesh tone control corrects phase deficiencies in the broadcast signal.
