...I was a little wary about buying a satnav system as you hear the stories about them leading you off into the middle of a field or lake, but I had nothing to worry about with the TomTom One. It's light, compact, cheap and cheerful. The touchscreen interface is extremely easy to use when programming your destination, either by city name, street address or postcode. Other useful features would be the Points of Interest search, which finds useful things like banks, airports, garages and hotels near your destination or location. You can also subscribe to a roadworks and speed camera service which lets you know if there are either on your journey (you get a months free trial of these services). ...I bought this item not really knowing if I wanted one. Well its one of the best gadgets I have bought for ages. It took me and the wife to Wales and back, took us away from traffic, warned us of traffic cameras, has so many features we don’t really use tthem all. This thing is great. The funniest moments you will have is when it detects traffic, tells you to turn around and the 3 cars in front of you are doing the same and a few behind. This actually happened to me this morning and I had to chuckle and noticed these other cars doing the same. All Tom Tom owners I wonder. Anyway, to finish. BUY IT NOW.
