I have had this Toastess TJK-100 electric kettle over two years. I used it in my dorm room when I was a university student. Now it still does a good job. There are some negative reviews online, but I am happy with my purchase. I will share my experience about it in here. It boils water quickly, about six to seven minutes, and has two indicator lights make the water level is easy to see. I love the auto-shut off feature, because even if I leave the ... ...about it breaking. The kettle doesn't get too hot after it boils the water, so it won't burn your hand when you try to pour. It could also keep the water warm inside the kettle for long time. In addition, it is easy to clean and looks nice. The only complaint is the cord can't be separated from the base, so which make filling and pouring difficult.
All in all, this is a good kettle. For the price, it does what it claims to do. ...
