Looks good but doesn't preform
Review of Cuisinart CPT-140BK by Justine82

Advantages: Four slots, can set it to toast differently on each side
Disadvantages: Doesn't toast evenly, not reliable at all

My mother-in-law purchased this toaster for us and when she told me how much she paid for it I expected it to be a really awesome toaster. I have never paid more than $20 for a toaster so I was excited to see what this one could do. What I like about the toaster is that there are four slots and each pair of slots can be set to toast the bread differently. This means that on the left side my husband can make his barely toasted toast while on the right ...
...The only problem is that it doesn't quite work that well. Often only one side of the bread is toasted. When toasting four slices at once you may find that only one set has toasted. Other times your toast will come out charred beyond recognition even on it's regular or low setting. Maybe it's just that we have a defective one but I have been wishing I hadn't given my old cheap toaster away. Overall I would not recommend it because I get the feeling ... Read review

Great Toaster
Review of Proctor Silex 22607 by master1112

Advantages: easy to use and clean, fast, nice
Disadvantages: none

I got this Proctor Silex 22607 toaster as a birthday present at last year. I am very happy with this product and the features that came with it. This toaster makes the best toast of any toaster I have ever owned and it looks great. It toast the bread smoothly and fast. I especially like the automatic cancel button to stop the toasting, rather than having to force the lever up manually. I love the removable crumb tray too, that makes it easy to keep ... Read review

A Toaster That Fits Bagels
Review of Proctor Silex 22445 by creationsbysusie

Advantages: toasts bagels
Disadvantages: none

I have owned this product a few years ago but since then I have given the toaster to my office to use in the lunch room so I guess you can say I still have it as I still use it. The reason that I bought this toaster is that I like my bagels toasted and the spaces were big enough to put a bagel in there so that was the main reason why I bought this product. I also used this toaster for toast, french toast etc I like it very much and I would recomend ... Read review

Black and Decker toaster saves us time
Review of Black & Decker T4000 by angie828

Advantages: control lightness/darkness
Disadvantages: if turned up too high, theres a burnt smell

We have this toaster at work and I do like it. It can easily fix four slices of toast or four bagel halves at the same time. I do like the fact that you can control how done you want each side of the toaster to be. Just turn the knob underneath the push down button. You could have the left side at light and have the right side at dark. If is perfect for people who are in a hurry and do not have time to wait to make toast or bagels when others are ...
