Advantages: Makes toast.
Disadvantages: Still shocked at price.

This is the newer version of mine. It is a good toaster but I have a hard problem with the cost of toaster being almost as much as a microwave ! I think any toaster that cost more than 30$ is over priced no matter how many gadgets it has on it. I got this toaster as a Christmas gift otherwise I would not have it because of my feelings on the price.It does have 4 slots and they are big enough for bagels if so desired. My mother-in-law purchased this toaster for us and when she told me how much she paid for it I expected it to be a really awesome toaster. I have never paid more than $20 for a toaster so I was excited to see what this one could do. What I like about the toaster is that there are four slots and each pair of slots can be set to toast the bread differently. This means that on the left side my husband can make his barely toasted toast while on the right ...
...The only problem is that it doesn't quite work that well. Often only one side of the bread is toasted. When toasting four slices at once you may find that only one set has toasted. Other times your toast will come out charred beyond recognition even on it's regular or low setting. I have bought this Aroma ATS272MB toaster before three months to replace my old one which could not work. So for, I have used several toaster this one is the best of all. It has both toasting and defrosting features that have worked well. It toasts very evenly, I use it for homemade bread, and the slots are wide enough so that can put the whole bread, and it really does toast perfectly. I love my Dualit toaster. It was intimidating at first, because you have to preheat this toaster before using it. They are made for constant restaurant and hotel use, so for just a few slices at home, this is a necessary step. It's worth it. The toast does not pop up when it's toasted. This product is a must ,if you have a large family. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed being able to toast four pieces of bread at the same time. Compared to the two toasters, it saves time, and energy. You can change the cooking control for the left slots and the right slots, meaning, you can make the left slots toast on a four and have the right on like a six and they can do this at the same time. ...I like the crumb tray that easily comes open to dispense all the crumbs that have been collected. It does get warm on the outside, and I make sure that there is not a plastic bag near it.
