As toasters go this is definitely one of the better models on the market. I found it especially good for a busy household with children. The higher pop-up action making the toast come further out of the top minimises the risk of small curious fingers getting burned. ...purchases was this deep red Kitchenaid Toaster. To describe how I feel about this in three words.....I FREAKING LOVE IT. Ha, ok that's four words, but you get the point. It's not just the design, style and color but it works better than any toaster i've had. A toaster 4 in a go! A very smart and efficient toaster. For me, i m living in a big family. Preparing breakfast everyday must be horrible for us. Especially when we need hot stuffs in the morning, we will usually go for toast or microwave. Definitely there are some days which is 'bread day'. I have bought this Hamilton toaster for my family before two months. It is really great and easy to use. Toast bread great but really like the bagel settings which allows you to toast bagel on just one side. Great looking so go for it. The lever that allows you to move the toasted item to the top is excellent for teaching an older child how to use a toaster without having them try to get out the toast while it is burning hot.
