The thompson speedtouch wireless modem/router is truely excellent.
It has good signal strength, functions when the pc is turned off, is easy to setup, especially when it comes free with aol broadband, and also provides a connection to the internet as well as a wireless access point. It is a good choice for connecting games consoles to which use wireless connections, and good for laptops too. It provides a good connection speed, both wirelessly and ... ...basic security features, such as being able to assign a WEP-key (password) of your choice which anyone who wishes to connect to your router must enter. Overall, the Thompson speedtouch is an excellent router without any fallbacks besides the fact that you can't use it if you are already connected to the internet. ...
