This DVD reader-recorder with its integrated 320Gb hard disk allows taking advantage of the "Time-shift" function: a buffer memory allows returning to the start of a live broadcast program or even putting it on pause while recording the rest of it to avoid missing anything. The presence of an integrated DBVT decoder gives you access to digital television channels, which it is possible to record in a quality close to that of a DVD. You can save up to 570 hours of programs on the hard disk of the machine or even burn them on DVD afterwards. With an extreme simplicity of use, it allows recording from the electronic program guide by simply pressing twice on the remote control. The DTH 8677E otherwise possesses an HDMI digital connection and benefits from digital processing which allows increasing image resolution of your DVDs for high definition display on an HD-Ready screen. It allows reading DivX and Mpeg-2 video files which are found burned on CDs or DVDs. Additionally, it possesses a USB port, which allows, for example, connecting a USB key or an MP3 Thomson Lyra product to exchange your favorite music tracks. Similarly, its DV connector is used to link a VideoCam to transfer and burn personal videos.
