Advantages: Talented singer and actress Disadvantages: None
...Diana Ross was born Diana Ernestine Earle Ross on March 26, 1944 at the Women's Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She was the second of six children. She has three brothers, (one now deceased), and two sisters.
In 1959, at the age of 15, she joined a female singing group called The Primettes. They later changed their name to The Supremes, and signed a contract with Motown Records in 1961. Their first number one hit was "Where Did Our Love Go" in 1964.
The Supremes went on to become very popular with Diana Ross as the lead singer, until she left the group to begin her solo career in 1970. During her solo career, Diana Ross has had 24 top ten singles, which include "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (1970), "Touch Me In The Morning" (1973), "Endless Love" (1981), and "Why Do Fools Fall In Love" (1981), to mention only a few.

# When the cake is COOL, Mix the Jell-O powder with 1 cup boiling water and 1/2 cup cold water. DO NOT REFRIGERATE
# Using a toothpick, poke several holes in the cake (it's best if you poke them in rows to get an even spread), and pour the liquid Jell-O mix on top of it; again, try to get an even spread. The cake will absorb the Jell-O mix.

Advantages: good party drink. Very good tasting Disadvantages: can be expensive to make so just do it periodically
..., pears, grapes, watermellon peaches, or pinnaple. I usually throw some ginger ale in as well. This can also be used if the alcohol in it is too strong.
The alchohol. You want to use bottom shelf, but not rot gut for this. Vodka is mandatory and rum are mandatory. Gin, slow gin, peach brandy or snapps has been used as. Congac is not that bad either but you can usually get a good vodka or gin cheaper. Bourbon or whiskey can be used ( I presonally don't) but if you do you need to use something with a sweet taste kind of like crown royal. I do not know if it is available everywhere, but in alabama and mississippi you could find a bottom shelf whiskey called bourbon supreme. It tastes just like crown royal mixed and its pretty good straight. I was partial to jim bean but it was good when cash was low. I tried tequila twice and both times...

...There are some artists with voices which are just timeless and for me Diana Ross represents just this. Maybe it is because her music with and without The Supremes is mixture of Blues, jazz, soul, pop R&B and sometimes it has a classical sound, a real mixture of music which is enough to engage my senses.
I could listen to Diana's voice all day it is so smooth and has immense melody.
Browsing through Woolworth's buy one and get one half price CD selection last week
I espied this little gem it cost me £10.50.
40 Golden Motown Greats Diana Ross and The Supremes (although there are other artists as well)
Compiled in 1998 I really do not know how I missed this one.
When I looked at the songs on this CD it brought back a funny memory of my 10th Wedding Anniversary when we had a huge party it was a hot day way back in the 1980's...

Supremes Mania Spreads Across The World
Review of More Hits By The Supremes/The Supremes Sing Holland-Dozier-Holland [Remastered] - Diana Ross & The Supremes by
IanPhillips
taken from ciao.co.uk
Advantages Two of their very best studio albums Disadvantages None!
...In 1964, The Supremes had three consecutive No.1 hit titles to their credit: Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love and Come See About Me. By 1965 Supremes mania was spreading across the globe like wild fire. They were, by far, Motowns biggest selling act and were literally pumping out hit after hit.
This aptly titled album captures The Supremes in their prime. The sensational combination of harmonies of Diana Ross, Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson was just magical. The Supremes were not least aided by the excellent production skills of the sheer genius songwriting trio, Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland, more commonly known as simply Holland-Dozier-Holland. Then of course there were Motowns legendary in-house band known as The Funk Brothers that were responsible for the vast majority of the groups biggest hits.
