...Magnet School in Ga. The kids were captivated and really into what was happening. The cast was AWESOME! I would tell everyone I know to see this show. I would over and over again. I was pleasantly surprised by the music and dance performances. This encourages me to want to see more live performances. I recommend taking children of all ages to see this show if for nothing else the cultural exposure. Everything about this play was well above my expectations. ...

Disadvantages: Not really meant to make you think and be inspired

...Kind" on Broadway and neighter the performance nor the music really captured me. I mean, if you see all the passion on stage in "Les Mis" for example or the the tradgedy of "Miss Saigon" , the "Lion King" is solid, professional and costly, but its just too much of a family musical. I watched the movie before and I admit, it touched me more than the musical version. Everything on stage, the costumes, the moves, the faces, the make-up, just reminded ...
...I was also astonished by the decent reactions of the audience. There was a respectable applause at the end but nor real verve. To be fair and to find a conciliative point in the end - the enthusiasm and energy of the staff performing was convincing and they really tried hard to deliver a good show. ...about justice prevails and all the mooshy stuff that comes from loving someone. I really think that DIsney has repeated this theme in more than one movie and I am happy to see that love conquers all. I much would rather see heartfelt movies than fighting and demonic ones. ...The music of Elton John captivated me as early as my primary school days during the circa 1970s. I fell in love with his very good tenor voice, so refined and so charming. He is a consistent hitmaker since the 1970s up to the present time. The hit songs such as "Daniel" and "Skyline Pigeon" have left an indelible mark in my childhood memories. How Elton John sung those songs beautifully with great and deep feelings. Since then I considered him a very talented musical artist. I consider him now already a musical legend in the music industry with a four-decade of musical career. He has touched two generations already with the songs he immortalized such as "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Candle In the Wind" and the theme song from the movie "Lion King ", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight."... ...Here it is my first top 10. It is really hard to decide which movie is better than another so this top ten do not go in the exact order all the time(depends on the mood). 1. Star Wars IV-VI - this was the movie I enjoyed as a child and a movie I still enjoy. One of the best movies by my opinion. This one is surely the best Sci-fi movie ever made. 2. Matrix - just the first movie. This was and is definitely a movie that will leave you thinking. Is this world real or do we just think it is real? 3. 10 things I hate about you - since I am a woman a chick flick is definitely on the list. This is the movie I can watch almost any time. 4. Godfather - I mean who does not have this movie on the list 5. .... Saving Private Ryan One of my most favorite movies from Steven Spielberg. He is a 'blessed' director and story teller. Everything in this movie is so realistic and touching. The best shot I like in this film is when the troops are walking though a field and slowly the rain starts. Before you could notice, it starts pouring. I watch this movie so many times, for this single shot. Final destination Frightening! But I like horror movies too. This has no ghosts, no crazy faces but sheer fear of death!! I love all the three parts. Gladiator I don't know why, but some shots in this movie remind me of the film "The Mask of Zorro". Never mind, I like this movie and the story. The fights are good too. Lion King Great animation film. I like this movie coz this was the first animation movie I ever saw! Unbelievable right... Read review
