Proctor Silex K4077
Review of Proctor Silex K4077 by flyfish

Advantages: fast, reliable,nice,easy to clean
Disadvantages: a little small capability

...saw my friends using the Proctor Silex K4077 electric tea kettle that was more convenient than any I had ever seen. When I got the pay at the end of last month and purchased it immediately. It does all we expected. It's fast, reliable, and looks nice on my kitchen counter. It's great for entertaining, you are able to offer a hot beverage in just a few minutes. But it only has a 1.7 litre capability that is't enough to use for over five people. When ...
...touch, and the handle stays completely cool. The design is very nice and easy to clean. The base is especially well-designed. Another it's great useful to be able to see the water level and the water when it's boiling. when it reaches full boil, or the water is boiled dry, the auto shutoff feature will work well. I suggest you buy it, I just love it, it really does a great job. ... Read review

Exactly What You'd Expect
Review of Proctor Silex K2070 Electric Kettle by jessiclaire

Advantages: fast, convenient, portable
Disadvantages: is there one?

Very handy appliance. I prefer to use an electric kettle over a standard stove top kettle for three reasons. Firstly, it shuts off on its own as soon as the water comes to a complete boil.I never have to worry about forgetting about it and returning to find my water evaporated and the bottom of my kettle turning black (believe its happened!). Also, I dont feel the pressure to jump up and shut it off immediately to end that slightly obnoxious whistling. ...
...audible "click" to alert you its done. Secondly, it can be plugged into any outlet. Ever made dinner and want a cup of tea afterwards, only to have to stop to clear off the stove to find a free burner for your kettle? With this, you can simply plug it into any free outlet. Thirdly, the inside stays cleaner than my stove-top kettle. Lime scales do not build up, so there is never any scrubbing! This kettle does exactly what it says it will do. No ... Read review

...stove. It is a cordless kettle with 360 degree rotational base which allows the kettle to be placed back on its base from any angle. I'm definitely glad we got this kettle, it works wonderfully. It boils water very quickly. It is pretty quiet when it boils, and shuts itself off. un-like the stove kettle that i had that i was running to turn off the heat before the loud wistleing woke any one up in the morning. A Great Kettle
Review of Toastess TJK-100 Electric Jug Kettle by dylan

Advantages: quick, easy to clean, auto-shut off,low price
Disadvantages: the cord can't be separated

I have had this Toastess TJK-100 electric kettle over two years. I used it in my dorm room when I was a university student. Now it still does a good job. There are some negative reviews online, but I am happy with my purchase. I will share my experience about it in here. It boils water quickly, about six to seven minutes, and has two indicator lights make the water level is easy to see. I love the auto-shut off feature, because even if I leave the ...
...about it breaking. The kettle doesn't get too hot after it boils the water, so it won't burn your hand when you try to pour. It could also keep the water warm inside the kettle for long time. In addition, it is easy to clean and looks nice. The only complaint is the cord can't be separated from the base, so which make filling and pouring difficult. All in all, this is a good kettle. For the price, it does what it claims to do. ... Read review
