Very handy appliance. I prefer to use an electric kettle over a standard stove top kettle for three reasons. When I moved into my new apartment last year my inlaws gave me this tea kettle as a house warming gift. It is so good for heating up water for a cup of soup or tea. I also use it for instant coffee. The handle is nice and wide so you have no trouble getting your hand in there and it is angled too so it makes it much easier to pour.
