Exactly What You'd Expect
Review of Proctor Silex K2070 Electric Kettle by jessiclaire

Advantages: fast, convenient, portable
Disadvantages: is there one?

Very handy appliance. I prefer to use an electric kettle over a standard stove top kettle for three reasons. Firstly, it shuts off on its own as soon as the water comes to a complete boil.I never have to worry about forgetting about it and returning to find my water evaporated and the bottom of my kettle turning black (believe its happened!). Also, I dont feel the pressure to jump up and shut it off immediately to end that slightly obnoxious whistling. ...
...audible "click" to alert you its done. Secondly, it can be plugged into any outlet. Ever made dinner and want a cup of tea afterwards, only to have to stop to clear off the stove to find a free burner for your kettle? With this, you can simply plug it into any free outlet. Thirdly, the inside stays cleaner than my stove-top kettle. Lime scales do not build up, so there is never any scrubbing! This kettle does exactly what it says it will do. No ... Read review

A Great Kettle
Review of Toastess TJK-100 Electric Jug Kettle by dylan

Advantages: quick, easy to clean, auto-shut off,low price
Disadvantages: the cord can't be separated

I have had this Toastess TJK-100 electric kettle over two years. I used it in my dorm room when I was a university student. Now it still does a good job. There are some negative reviews online, but I am happy with my purchase. I will share my experience about it in here. It boils water quickly, about six to seven minutes, and has two indicator lights make the water level is easy to see. I love the auto-shut off feature, because even if I leave the ...
...about it breaking. The kettle doesn't get too hot after it boils the water, so it won't burn your hand when you try to pour. It could also keep the water warm inside the kettle for long time. In addition, it is easy to clean and looks nice. The only complaint is the cord can't be separated from the base, so which make filling and pouring difficult. All in all, this is a good kettle. For the price, it does what it claims to do. ... Read review

The Little Kettle that Whistles
Review of ATH S3019-30 by schellsr

Advantages: good purchase
Disadvantages: n/a

This kettle, the ATH brand has been around for a while. Most people do not know that the abbreviations ATH stand for American Trading House. Anything you can get in America has to be good, if you live there, especially. I looked it up, I was curious when I purchased my kettle from a little salvage store, in my city. Costs me just two dollars(US). ATH... Their quality is wonderful and their designs are simple and classic. Kettle... This tea or ...
...It has stainless steel construction and comes with a lever to open and close the spout. It also whistles when the water gets hot. Personal thought>>> *I remember as a child hearing that distinctive whistle. I always knew it meant that it was time for hot cocoa. There is not much more to say. Sides get hot while heating, but not a problem. It is a great little kettle. Strong and durable. ... Read review

Superfast boiling water with style
Review of Braun WK200W AquaExpress by shibainudogpersn

Advantages: Very fast single-cup boiling
Disadvantages: None yet

BRAUN AQUA EXPRESS ELECTRIC KETTLE Having a kettle that will boil as much or as little water as you like is both environmentally friendly (you aren't boiling water you don't need) and an extremely speedy way to get that mug of tea or instant coffee to hand! The clearly visible water level is great as you can see exactly how much water is being boiled - I often use this when needing to boil water for rice etc, I pre-boil it in the kettle then transfer ...
...secure is also good! There are some brand names that, to me at least, ooze quality and Braun is one of them. This is a stylish item that doesn't look out of place in a modern or more traditional kitchen. I love my kettle and definitely recommend it! ... Read review
