This Slow Cooker is a bit different than your usual Slow Cooker / Crock Pot because it defrosts as well as does the cooking . This feature however is not as great as one would think because it leaves room for error in the defrosting , and once you defrost the item wrong you are well on your way to cooking wrong and then you ruin the entire dis you are makning ,,, I woud not reccomend this to anyone whom is not completely sure of themselves with the ... ...for the money you are spending on the unit, I would say this is the unit is somewhat a value for the confident cook , however , by the time you get it straight on the cooking you could bo through alot of meals that you have ruined .. ...
