I really like my Sidekick 3, I like that you can change the casing and that there are so many options for designs or colors. I also like that you can change the theme on the phone. It's simple to use and nice for viewing websites and reading e-mail. If you want a phone that's easy for texting, e-mail, and internet this is a great phone. Sometimes the calls are a little muffled but other than that it's been fine for me.
I like this phone a lot and for the price it's nicer than a lot of other phones out there.

I purchased the sidekick III because I owned the Sidekick II and it was time to upgrade, little did I know I was actually downgrading. The sound on this sidekick is very poor, as is the rollerball/buttons.
It constantly gets stuck and frozen and I wish I would have saved my $ for an Iphone

Advantages: Great Features, Bluetooth, Danger Network, Easy to Use/Navigate, Expandable Memory Disadvantages: No Video, Low in Onboard Memory
The T-Mobile Sidekick3, made by Sharp is a really good phone that lacks just a couple of features to make it great. I went from carrying a palm pilot and a slim phone to caring just this slightly bulky device. The phone has almost everything I need to keep my life on track and connected to those I work with and love.
My biggest complaint is that it will not display video of any type. Occasionally pages on the internet suffer from proper display ... ...also seams to be geared to a younger user especially if you want to download anything from the available catalogue.
The thing I am most impressed with is the fact that the phone utilizes the danger network and has an online interface (available through t-mobile) that updates instantly to the phone and vice versa. I have been using this phone for a while now and I really like it, despite the video (hopefully in the 4 model). ...

Advantages: Slimmer model, Unique colors, great features, updated web browser, cool myspace feature Disadvantages: T-mobile service doesn't always work
...I love my sidekick, but I don't like T-Mobile. The problem is there service, they don't know what they're doing. The Sidekick is great because the internet browser is updated from the sidekick3 and it's much better. It feels more like the real internet. Also, there is a myspace feature you can purchase that let's you update your myspace on your sidekick, and it's way easier to use than the regular internet. The IM is still the same, but it's great, it's fast and there's no delay like with normal cell phones. The keyboard is softer than the sidekick3's, and the body of the phone is much slimmer. The LX is a good buy, but you need to make sure that if you're not getting service to call T-Mobile they will send you a new Sidekick and if you are sent more than 5 you can get out of your contract and get a refund....

Advantages: Features you have come to know Disadvantages: Does not accept email
...The Samsung SGH T509 Mobile Phone is one great phone. I use this phone as my back up phone whenever I do something like take my Sidekick3 swimming. It has many great features and is a great size (super slim and lightweight).
Most of the Features you have come to know and love on most cell phones are there, including a Voice Recorder/Memo; Phone with Call Records; T-zones (t-mobile service only); IM - Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, MSN; Text (Picture) Messaging; File Manager; Games; Camera; Alarm; Calendar; World Clock; Unit Conversions; Timer & Stopwatch; Phone Book and Phone Settings function.
Note: This phone does not accept email and the internet is a little lacking in good usability - I avoid it at all costs.
One of the greatest things about this phone is the Nine Day Stand-by Time on the Battery. Yes, I said 9-Day Stand-by time. I mean...
