This is a simple video input device,which is just like a plug-in card. My experience was not a good one with this product.I wanted to convert a few of my personal videos,which were in a VHP tape into a DVD format,but it did not recognize.I attempted to do it a couple of times,but it kept failing every time.One day a friend wanted it for transferring videos from his camcorder and it did work well without much hassles.
