This was a game long awaited after the release of Super Mario Sunshine on Gamecube, and the game had high expectations. I am happy to say that it has indeed lived up to these and is an amazing game.
The graphics quality if fair and the gameplay is great, as it incorporates the wii remote brilliantly, you have to shake it to hit, point to grab star bites and and even shoot bites.
There are many levels with multiple stars in each, some are tropical, volcanic, icy, technological and much more. The level require a decent amount of thought but generally flow well and are all very different so you don't get bored.
The story is unique and Nintendo have taken the whole Mario 3D style of playing to a whole new dimension with the weightless effect used in many space level. The fact that you can now play in co-op mode makes the Mario game even better.
I loved the game and I found it amazing value for money, it lasted a long time, yet it wasn't repetitive.
