Advantages: New levels to beat more stars to get than the first game Disadvantages: Multi player games are kind of weak
Super Mario 64 for DS is a great game. It is the same game that was available for the nintendo 64. They have however upgraded many of the features of the game making it more challenging. There are more levels to play, more stars to collect and more times to beat bowzer. If you liked the first one then you will love to play this plus you can take it on the go with you. There are several mini games to play and you can connect with another DS and play ... ...would of liked them to allow you to play a few more games against other players. The 4 mini games it does allow to play a for the most part pretty boring. The game though is fun and exciting to play and kept me wanting to play till I beat it which took me awhile to do. It is really worth buying and trying out. I have started my game over and am trying again and it is still just as much fun as the first time I played. I am also finding new things ...

Advantages: Solid gameplay and a great port of the nintendo 64 original Disadvantages: it's yet another port for the system
Mario, the most iconic video game character of all time stars in his latest game. This game first appeared on the nintendo 64 and was regarded as the greatest Mario game of all time. In this Nintendo DS port of the game does it live up to the greatness of the nintendo 64 version or does it fall flat on it's face. This game contains more levels, more characters, some great touch screen mini-games and more challenge than the original. The game is very ... ...to see something fresh from nintendo however for all of those who have never played the original I highly reccommend it.
portable for the first time this classic requires you to complete numerous levels by running, jumping and using a whole host of power-ups to save princess peach from the evil hands of Bowser.

Detailed Description: Nintendo 64's highly acclaimed 3D platform hit Super Mario 64 arrives on the Nintendo DS with all-new features that take full advantage of the new portable system's dual screens, touch screen and wireless multiplayer capability. New characters, stages and puzzles await players. In addition to Mario, players are able to play as Yoshi, Luigi and even Wario, each of whom has different abilities integral to collecting every last one of the 150 Power Stars hidden in the castle and grounds. Play through Adventure mode, engage in tons of new touch-sensitive mini-games or battle up to three friends in Wireless Versus mode, which you can play with only one DS Game Card. The top screen displays most of the principal action, while the bottom screen is used for mini-challenges, control functionality (such as analog stick emulation), and a map/radar screen for battles.
