I bought this a month or so ago and I make bread about every few days. I read poor reviews about the bread flattening when using the recipes in the manual but I haven't tried those. Most of mine came from the internet and they all came out really well.
I find that so far this is an excellent breadmaker for the price I paid. It was $38 with shipping from Circuit City, so I figure if I can make at least 20 loaves, it's worth it considering a loaf of bread at my local supermarket costs over three dollars now. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to get started making your own bread machine bread but not having the money to invest in a nicer one like Cuisinart.
The only problem I've found is the non-stick coating is coming off of the paddle, but that may be a result of someone cutting the loaf with the paddle still inside it.
