Evita is a Story of Eva Duarte (her maiden last name) who was an actress in the thirties and fourties in Argentina specialy that is no good actress, Probanly worse than Libertad Lamarque (another actress, who lived in Mexico by political ideas). Eva Duarte was knowledge in political when was falling in love with Juan Domingo Peron and then She got merried with him participating in her husband's goverment in the fourties and fifties more ore less, ...

How Does She Know You Love Her?
Review of Enchanted by jesi

Advantages: Hear the songs and specially written score again! Sing along!
Disadvantages: Songs separated from the score; you need to program CD player to relive experience.

...13, 14, 5 ~~~ ENCHANTED ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK ~~~ ~~Songs by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz; Score by Alan Menken~~ I was brought up in a family dominated by classical music, hymns, songs and tunes from Gilbert and Sullivan; nursery rhymes and barbershop quartets; Burl Ives and Spike Jones. Everything was always a cue for a song, or one of us was practicing the piano. I am not very good at describing music, as l mostly let it pass ...
...of the film, the entire soundtrack as performed in the film really carried the show, setting moods excellently. l really don't understand genre ~ this is a Disney fairytale ~ but any attempt to classify genre is an over-simplification, as the different moods and themes, like life, are a combination of genres, and don't really pigeon-hole easily. As Ciao.com doesn't have Product Information for this soundtrack, l will mainly list the track names/numbers ... Read review

Doo Wop What Fun!
Review of Grease by thrivingmom

Advantages: fun, easy to sing along with, kids love it!
Disadvantages: none

I have seen the movie, Grease, too many times to count. I now have kids of my own, and while they are too young to be interested in the movie the catchy songs on the soundtrack are perfect for them. My toddler loves to sing along and dance to "Go Greased Lightnin," "Hopelessly Devoted To You" and "You're The One That I Want." I enjoy the ballad duet of Olivia Newton John and John Travolta called "Summer Nights." I bet just hearing the song titles ...
...movie as a kid. The soundtrack sure makes for more pleasant car rides. The kids think it's hysterical fun for me to turn it way up and sing along at the top of my lungs. If you aren't familiar with the movie, the soundtrack has a 1950's sound and the songs are catchy and easy to sing along with. Tons of fun! ... Read review

Saturday Night Fever - A 70's classic
Review of Saturday Night Fever by JohnA

Advantages: Great Storylines, fabulous soundtrack
Disadvantages: Dont look to long at the clothes - haha

In my eyes, Saturday Night Fever should be considered a classic for the era in which it evolved. Not only because of the music soundtrack which was one of the best compilations on an album in a long while, and brought the Bee Gees to the forefront of the Music scene at that time. The movie also brought John Travolta into the spotlight as an actor, showcasing his abilities as both a performer, as well as an actor. Before this he was but Vinnie Barbarino, ...
...this not been a success, Grease may never have come to him and maybe he is not what he is today. Finally though i think it should be considered a classic because of how the different storylines that evolved in the story spelled out what it meant to grow up in the late 70's and in the so-called Disco Era. Sure the 70's might not include some of the problems we had now, but the movie displayed how discos served as a place for people to release the ... Read review

The most Unique show of all times is now a cd
Review of Cats by SheGrizz

Advantages: great songs, great sound, moving
Disadvantages: may not appeal to todays generation

...comes to a cd! Cats is a unique experience, told by actual cats, living on the streets. It is best known for the song "Memories" which is sang by an old glamour puss, about his life. If you like musicals, with a pop almost rock opera feel about them, then you will love this cd. The songs are breathtaking , both in their lyrics and the performances. If you have never seen Cats, once you listen to this cd, you will wish it was on tour again. Beautifully ... Read review
