If you enjoy watching movies, playing games, or listening to music on your PC, then you need to stop using your onboard video card, and step into the world of awesome sound! I recently purchased the X-Fi Xtreme Gamer from Creative. I was somewhat disappointed with the audio performance I was receiving while playing Call of Duty 4. I played the same game at a neighbor's house, and his audio was so much better, it made me very jealous. The thing was, ... ...thought to ever buy a sound card, because the onboard one supported 7.1 channels and seemed fine. It's not until I learned that he had this card that I realized they really do make a difference!

...last month, my husband bought Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express for me to replace the old one. this is the most moderately priced card I could find with the PCIex1 plugs. It was easy to install for me. I was impressed by its sound which was crisp and clear. The sound of music and film were great.When I see a film, the sound like I was in the cinema. But in the meantime, the XP drivers were unavailable which was one draw back. The ... ...it but none of the software programs could be installed and the sound could not be manipulated which was another draw back. Luckiy, the sound card works great for my needs and it is affordable. If you want to buy this sound card, please pay attention to its introduction. I wish you like it ！ ...

All of the StarTech.com line for sound cards is great. I bought this sound card to replace my old one, the sound really was crisp, clear I never heard in my lifetime, especially, if you play video games, this sound card is really noticeable and significantly improves ... ...only you download a almighty driver software from net, then according to the step operating, that's ok. But you must uninstall your previous card before install this new one, otherwise will have conflict and lock your computer up. Also you will need to update your BIOS for insuring this card work well. All in all, this is a great sound card and worth for the money. ...
