Sony created the format for his own cards of memory,.The first one it was the memory stick, then came the memory stick duo and the memory stick pro duo. The main difference is that the pro duo is more evolved and better for video, Itīs also quicker tah the others.
I use this memory stick with my camera and my psp (playstation portable) both of them are Sony. For the camera I need an adapter. I use it for photos and video.
When I bought this memory card I paid 30 dollars, but now the prices are dropping, and the capacity is higher, but you have to notice that the capacity never reaches the amount that the memory card shows, itīs a little bit less than 1 giga.
An alternative for Sony is Sandisk that is cheaper.
