Advantages X-black LCD, weight, Adobe Companion Pack Disadvantages too little memory, MS Works
...When I made the decision to replace my aging desktop with a laptop, the crucial factor for consideration was the screen quality. As a freelance, I often have to work to crazy deadlines, which means I am sometimes on the computer from morning until the early hours of next morning. I wear glasses for reading and have in the past had problems with some desktop and laptop computer displays. Having previously had one of the tiny Vaios, and been impressed with the clarity of the tiny screen, as well as with the durability and reliability of that computer, I naturally turned to the Vaio range.
I was bowled over by the quality of the new X-black LCD screens. I went through the mechanics of comparing Vaios with cheaper offerings from other manufacturers, such as Toshiba and Dell, but the display quality was nowhere near as good. My choice...

Advantages Quick Disadvantages A little expensive for what you get
...Brought this for the wife to do work on and for the kids if they need it for school, and I have to say I am impressed. It's a neat little laptop, albeit due to it being Sony it is going to be expensive for what you get but hey, not the end of the world.
It's got all the things anyone could realistically need, unless you are playing new games, which even the best laptops struggle with. The speed for all the average things is fantastic, and I haven't had to touch it since we've got it. It's set up wirelessly for use around the house and that is flawless, much easier for work as you are not constricted by cables and the suchlike!
Fantastic....
