Play them back and you'll be delighted with the Hi-Fi quality sound. You don't have to be a technical wizard to figure all this out thanks to the VCR Plus and Gold(r) auto channel mapping features. They make recording simple and hassle-free. 19-micron Video Heads provides superior picture performance, even in the EP mode, with precision oval cut edges, reducing crosstalk and eliminating ghosting and color "beats. Reality Regenerator uses advanced edge detection logic to improve the playback picture sharpness of every tape-no matter where it was recorded. Unlike conventional sharpness controls, Reality Regenerator minimizes video noise. Erase heads mounted on the rotating head drum minimize the "rainbow" effect and picture distortions where one recorded segment ends and another begins. Adaptive Picture Control II tests each tape and adjusts both playback and recording for high picture sharpness and low video noise. Two heads for LP speed and two for EP optimize playback picture quality. They also enable Crystal Clear freeze frame, frame advance and picture search. VCR Plus+ Gold Auto Channel Mapping Automatically matches the channels in your TV listings or local cable operator to nationally published PlusCode numbers. Simplifies VCR Plus+ operation.
