...£300 I paid for this when it first came out. I needed something lightweight, which at 65g it certainly is, and high music quality, which this player provides. The ATRAC3 format which it uses is of far higher quality than MP3, and you can get more songs per memory space for a higher quality (80 mins vs ~65 mins for a normal 64mb MP3 player @ 128kb/s). The battery it uses is excellent, lasting around 4 - 5 hours, although I would have preferred slightly longer. Because it is Lithium-Ion there is no need to run it down before recharging. Sony could have done a bit betterv with the headphones for £300, but the supplied Fontopia provide good Treble and Bass, yet I would buy a new set of Grooves to make the most of what you've got. ...i think this is usefull and at one sentence it is great and cheap by comaring with others good sound and very stiff and usefull and agreat face and cheaper than its value ican say its good for sony to produce it and decrease the price4 but i think i may has its custumer i know sony is sony nothing else also auto voltage thats great you will see it beat the all the nice record er and the surrond sound what should i say else the great system i can compare it with sansui and nothing else and you will see its works for a life time please braek it if you get bored of this product the last thing is the great power of its motor thats the point... ...admit, that doesn't bother me! The controls of the NW-MS7 are easy to use and it's desgined pretty nicely overall, although it's not quite as sexy looking as it's non-Memory Stick cousin. I'd recommend this product to anyone who a) can afford it, and b) doesn't plan to use a PC running anything other than Windows 98 in the near future. The fact that there is this lack of compatibility is incredibly sloppy work on Sony's part, since Windows 2000 was here before the NW-MS7 and Windows ME was well on the way.
