What separates the MDS-JE630 from its lower-priced counterparts? The maximum convenience. Equipped with a CD Text and Custom File transfer system, this unit allows you to edit your CD data to MD without having to re-enter the disc and track names. You also enjoy PC input capabilities that let you enter and edit disc and track data from the comfort of your own keyboard. It comes with standard 24-Bit Analog-to-Digital Converter and Jog Dial for instantaneous track selection and text entry. The MDS-JE630 replaces the Sony MDS-J520 and adds new 24bit converters and the latest generation of ATRAC (Type R) for CD-like sound quality. New editing features, including A-B erase mode, allow "razor-blade" type edits. Also included, is an "S-Link" type interface for computer-software based editing and control access. The MDS-JE630 also offers Advanced Time-Shift recording, for capturing intro portions of broadcast material often missed when engaging the record button, and playback pitch control.
