I remember when I first borrowed these headphones from a friend of mine... and in anticipation for a 3 week Australia trip I was taking that summer, knew these were the headphones I HAD to have... this was in 2001. You see all these bulky, ear-hugging so called great sounding headphones for the best portable performance... when it just isn't the case. Now I'm the type of person who doesn't go for that intense bass sound... I'm sorry, but I actually ... ...Being a music oriented person in general, I wanted the type of headphones that delivered a clear pure sound well enough to hear every type of sound produced in your track. It's the main reason why I purchased these way back then.
The best feature though in my opinion, is the fact that the actual "speaker" is contoured to hug the inner portion of your ear and actually produce the sound "in" your ear for the full sound, as supposed to surrounding ...
