This is an awesome TV and I had no problems with it at all. There are many settings that you can set to maximize your LCD experience. The TV works best with an HD Box that allows you to see HD channels. It's perfect. I have no issues with the sound and you can trust the quality because it is made by Sony.
There are a few inputs on the side for easy access and the rest are on the back. There is an HDMI port so you can connect your video game console or your Laptop to the TV.
I have had an outstanding experience connecting this TV to my Laptop. I was playing games and watching movies on it in one minutes.
If you've been waiting to buy a TV, this is the one to go for. The price is well worth it, and you won't be disappointed because it's Sony.
Sony is probably the best when it comes to electronics. You have my word on that.
Now I'll go along with my experiences with the Sony Bravia. I have a Rogers HD Box which I am renting for a company called Rogers. I pay around $30 a month for a bit more than 100 channels. Not all of them are HD though! That's why ticks me off the most. It's not the TV's fault but the company that looks after your TV broadcast. I think that over time this should change though. My TV is connected through a cable (not a satellite), and it works awesome.
In my experience I have had nothing bad happen to this TV. It's pretty thin and works great. Sound Quality is through the roof along with picture quality. I would recommend getting an HD box and not using satellite. You'll get the most out of your TV that way, and when you hook up Blu-Ray it looks very cool.
