Advantages Handy
Disadvantages Bad cosmetic, comes off easily

...opened the camcoder and damaged it even more than orignal problem and I have to pay extra. I tried explaining that it was given to authorised service agent outside UK but no one seem to bother, even Sony UK by replied we do not take responsibility for work done in other part of the world even if by our authorised service agent. After that experience I've bought another camcoder and rarely use my TRV250.... Read review

Advantages Easy to edit your filming
Disadvantages Difficult to record from VCR

...With the birth of my first son and a teaching diploma looming, it was time to buy a camcorder. I spent weeks (as you are now) going through different sites and different shops looking for something that was good for my money and decided on the Sony TRV250-e. With my teaching diploma I needed something that is not too obtrusive when filming my pupils (with permission) and also easy to edit. This camera does both extremely well. Once you have filmed your piece, you can sit on the sofa with the camera and edit up to twenty clips. You then link it up with the video player. The camera then works like a remote control, stopping and recording the saved clips onto your video player and after a while, hey presto, one fully edited piece. One piece of advice.
