Sony made this system a perfect match for MiniDisc users who demand more despite a limited amount of space. Sony offers this mini HiFi component system with MiniDisc recording and playback capability. The new mini system, the DHC-MD595, features 4X dubbing and S.F. Edit (Scale Factor Edit) allowing adjustment of recorded volume or apply fade-in effect after recording. Front panel can connect to Sony's tilting input device for faster input and printouts. MDLP (MD Long Time Stereo Recording) is a new MD recording technology with 2 modes, LP2 and LP4. LP2 extends the MD recording capacity by 2 times while LP4 extends the capacity by 4 times. With MDLP you can record at maximum 320min on one MD. New PC link Function allows to download music file (e.g.MP3, MIDI, WAVE, etc) from PC to MD, design your own MD label or make CD to MD recording and MD editing through PC. Auto function selects the CD or Tape function as soon as you press CD or Tape Play.
