Sony CDP CX350 CD changer

This Sony 300-disc CD changer lets you conveniently store all your favorite CDs in one place. Select discs and tracks with simple twin jog dials, or scan them either by slot position or by alphabet. To make your life easier, the Sony 300-disc changer also allows you to type in disc titles with a PC keyboard, and has a custom Group file to organize your CDs into eight groups. Other features include a hybrid pulse D/A converter, a remote and a timer switch. The changer also features 8x oversampling Digital Filter that combines excellent phase linearity with superb suppression of aliasing noise and yields better stereo imaging. Digital Servo Control System maintains stable tracking, laser focus and disc rotation - all with higher precision and lower radiated noise. Optical Digital Output offers pure, digital-to-digital connection to an MD Recorder or DAT Recorder and enables DTS encoded CDs to be played through an outboard decoder, such as Sony's latest STR-DE935 and DE835 Receivers. Second CD Input enables selected Sony CD changers to connect a MegaStorage CD changer and route the signal from both to a single Receiver input. The changer features a higher level of MegaStorage control that displays the second changer's Disc Memo information in the front panel of the first. The unit features 32 x3 programming. Custom File Memory (600 Discs) is a system that uses the unique ID number pressed into each CD title's subcode area. Custom File players can remember and display a name for each CD, along with specific instructions on how you prefer to play it. The Custom File feature helps you remember which discs you have loaded. Disc Memo display lets you assign an alphanumeric name for up to 600 discs. Names are shown on the front panel - and on the LCD of Sony's 2-way remote control. Memo Scan lets you browse MegaStorage CDs by location. Disc Memo names flash by as you turn the jog dial. Memo Search lets you browse MegaStorage CDs alphabetically. Disc Memo names flash by as you turn the jog dial. Track Memo, a Custom File feature, enables you to identify tracks by name. Delete Bank is a Custom File feature you can use when a CD you like includes songs you hate. Use Delete Bank to skip selected songs. Timer Switch automatically enters the Play mode when an external timer activates AC power. PC Keyboard Input is an easy way to enter Custom File text information on a Sony MegaStorage Changer. It enables you to plug in a standard PC-compatible keyboard and type your CD titles. Text information is encoded on a new generation of Compact Discs. When you play these CDs, Sony's top two systems will display artist names, disc names, and track titles. Dot matrix display is a superior way to show names and numbers on the front panel. It's far more legible.
