My sister-in-law's boyfriend got in trouble with his mom because be bought this Sony Bravia. He didn't get in trouble because of the quality being substandard but because he spent five months worth of his salary (he's an overseas worker) for this model. Did he regret it? Nope! So, we are now enjoying excellent movie marathon sessions in this beautiful piece.
Why did he risk his mom's wrath, really? Well, you probably would do this, too, if you see the specs of this product. I can't afford to buy this myself but will dream about this model always.
General features
This is a real black beauty - all glossy and nice.
Being a Sony Bravia has its advantages, really. Sony's technology has turned this baby into a perfect LCD TV. It has a large 32-inch screen but is only 3.9 thick! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.
Sound quality
As expected, the sound quality is perfect for any Bravia.
Picture quality
Let's just say that the movie we watched was a thriller and it felt like the killer was going to crawl out of the screen at any second. That means that the picture quality is absolutely amazing.
Connections
I'm not good at understanding all those connectors in this LCD TV, but I knew that it plays/shows images directly from our digital camera using some special connectors.
It also has the usual connections to external speakers and from DVD players. I was amazed to learn that this model can be attached to a headset for quiet/private TV viewing!
Energy
The electric bill for my sister-in-law's boyfriend's house didn't shoot up much even with several hours of DVD marathons and karaoke singing. The model is energy-saving, then.
