earlier rock'n'roll and R&B classics, and "Something New" comprising six modern (for 1966) soul stompers in the Motown style. The remakes retain all the energy and spirit of the originals - as well they might, having been produced by the same team who were responsible for their first versions. The soul cuts maintain the same level of excitement. Many were among the first big records in the early days of the Northern Soul scene, where the Mirwood label continues to be held in the highest regard. This is not a `former members of the Olympics sing their hits and some other stuff' album - the personnel of the group on this set is almost identical to that featured on their original late-50s hits, with just one member missing - he had died in 1965.Never previously available as a stand-alone CD, this latest entry in Ace's mid-priced Hip Pocket series in a cardboard replica of the LP is sure to appeal to R&B and classic soul fans alike.

Advantages: Inspired, Point of View, Reality, Mortality, Romance Disadvantages: None
...friends pushes her to try something new and to be open-minded and let go of her idea of the perfect black man, she agrees to a blind date with an architectural landscaper named Brian played by Simon Baker, only to find out that he is white. The date is cut short.
However the two meet again at a party, which leads to Kenya hiring Brian to landscape her new home. As they spend more time with each other, they get closer, but Kenya's doubts about the ... ...she pursue the romance?
What I think about the movie:
Its a good romantic comedy, which deals with the issues of relationships in races and people's perceptions in a direct manner. In a different vantage point, how they have to deal with the judgment and that not everone is open minded on the inter-racial relationships. I think the movie is a really good one. Everyone should get a chance to see. Plain and Simple. ...

Advantages Fun and Entertaining Disadvantages Predictable storyline
...This is quite a nice romantic comedy about a successful professional woman Kenya McQueen played by Sanaa Lathan moving up high on the corporate ladder, but along with her friends still looking out for love and not having much success. Then she goes on a blind date and meets her soul mate Brian Kelly played by Simon Baker only he doesn't fit Kenya's idea of the ideal man. The rest of the movie deals with how Kenya has to battle her own growing feelings for Brian even when she doesn't get whole hearted approval from her family and friends. A further spanner is thrown in the works when a new love interest turns up and Kenya has to decide whether she's going to go with her heart or her head.
I didn't find this wildly hilarious but it was entertaining. The plot is pretty much predictable there's no surprise in how the story will end...

...now first of all i will state the good things. The best thig about this phone is that it has an intergrated camera. However this is nothing new, i feel that nokia (who dont get me wrong have produced some very good and interesting phones in the past) need to bring out somethingnew. I think that the next way forward for nokia phones is to think up a new design, because personally its just the same old boring thing every time, (ifyour lucky the next phones buttons may be rearranged ;) ) Other phone companys such as motorola have bought out many styles of phone and personally the best one i feel is the 360 phone. #
I do not advise you to buy this phone as you can get the same features on an older model and probably for cheaper!...

Advantages They taste nothing else like it Disadvantages New on the market could be hard to find
...Somethingnew on the market and im their like a shot - even quicker if it contains coconut.
Phileas Fogg Co. Lemongrass and Coconut Crackers! Crackers is abit of a lie as they are more like quavers or chinese prawn crackers than any kind of traditional cracker Ive ever had, but saying that it still isnt a complaint as the taste takes you far and away from everyday life.
The taste - smooth sweet smelling coconut and the tang of lemongrass with the melting on your tongue cracker. This one of the most unique flavoured snack item Ive come across in years and one I sincerely hope takes off and stays not just for christmas. Neither of the chief flavours are too strong or overpowering - just the right amount of each.
These are available from supermarkets in big 65g bags priced around £1 - £1.50 depending on special offers etc...

Manufacturer's product description
Kenya (Sanaa Lathan) is a beautiful, successful lawyer with loving parents and a close-knit group of supportive friends--but, predictably, no love life to speak of. Out for drinks on Valentine's Day, she and her girlfriends lament the difficulty of finding the "ideal black man" (successful, educated, and attractive), and the point is driven home when a coworker sets Kenya up on a blind date with a successful, educated, and attractive landscape architect named Brian (Simon Baker)--who turns out to be, to her surprise and dismay, white. While Kenya at first tries to deny their obvious attraction, the two soon start a relationship; and though they have undeniable chemistry, cultures clash. The plot of SOMETHING NEW is not, in fact, actually new, combining many of the usual truisms of romantic comedies and interracial dramas. In fact, with his too-good-to-be-true personality (sensitive yet strong, working with his hands yet educated, determined yet patient), Brian is reminiscent of Sidney Poitier's John in GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER, a man so perfect that no critic could find anything to object to beyond his race. But top-to-bottom excellent performances from an extremely talented cast make the characters three-dimensional and save the movie from cliché. Lathan's radiant, skillful performance manages to display all of Kenya's many neuroses and flaws, even her occasional rudeness, without ever allowing her to become unlikable. The always excellent Earl Billings and Alfre Woodard bring real warmth and depth to the roles of Kenya's parents, and Donald Faison displays perfect comic timing as her playboy brother. Blair Underwood--as Brian's main competition--miraculously manages to make his attractive, suave character somewhat unappealing. The actors, working with Sanaa Hamri's sure-handed and inventive direction (in her feature film debut, no less), give the movie a lively spark and likeability that elevate it above its genre conventions.
