I bought my sister one as a gift for her birthday and she really likes it. She uses it at least once or twice a week on cooking. She even some times puts it on at nice on a very low speed and when morning comes then it is already cooked for lunch. Over-all this is a good crock-pot. It has a good size to it and fits a medium size roast with vegetables real well. I also like the fact that you can remove the stoneware pot and it cleans well in the dishwasher. I would recommend that you get the carrying bag to store it in and for transporting it. ...worst parts about it is, if your food finishes cooking before the timer is up you can't put it on keep warm. In order to do any cooking you have to select a time, 4, 6, 8 or 10 hours. ...just me. Some things that make it so useful is that you can cook meals in it like roast beef. We cook a roast in it, spices set it for like 8 hours on high for at least six hours and we have a good meal. The leftover roast can make great BBQ beef sandwiches that I use a smaller slow cooker for.
