My friend bought this new game called Sing Star Amped, and I was intrigued. He says it's like karaoke, but you get scored. We plugged it in and began a most joyful experience. First of all, you have the option of singing solo, against another player, or just for fun. We decided to go head to head and selected the versus mode. The next screen takes you into a rotating list of songs and medleys of songs. When each song appears on the screen, a brief ... ...what song you are choosing. Then, after choosing the song, you get to decide if you would like to sing the full song, or a shorter version of the song. We always opted for the full versions.
The song plays across your screen with the actual music video of the song and the words beneath the video, in true karaoke format. The words turn green as you are supposed to sing them. On the main screen, in front of the video pictures, are bars that measure ...
