This phone is nice, it has a good sound, and very sharp. Good quality. Siemens SL55, is light, and comfortable. I recommend Siemens SL55 for everyone. The price is unbeatable. Having all this qualities, cheap, comfortable, that is what we need in life, why not go for it.

...How I fell in love with this mobile phone: Still living in Switzerland, I broke my mobile phone and went to a shop looking for a new one. Before, I always had Nokias, but this time I saw the Siemens SL55 and simply wanted it. Because I am not really a technical hero, the looks did it for me to be honest. Looks: You can get this tiny beauty (length x width x height = 81.6 x 44.5 x 21.9 mm) in titan and rubin. It slides open and reveals the keyboard. At the beginning I had to get used to it, as the keyboard is different from a Nokia one. After you get the hang of it, it is easy to use. It has a colour screen, which I like. If you search a bit, you will be able to find a case for it. However, as it is quite small, it can be difficult to get a good one. ...I have used nokia phones all my life and when the siemens sl55 came out i decided to purchase it to give other makes a go. I was rather disappointed, yes it looks cool, yes its small, but compared to nokia phones it just doesnt match my expectations. If you like to text then its not as fast as nokia phones, when you do get into the message, write message box, it takes time to wait for the space to move, and if you want to use exclamation marks and question marks etc you have a extra button to press and then scroll along to find what you want. Then after you do all that you have to find the name of the person you want to send the text to. There is no faster way. Im not impressed with the siemens phone, it cost me £130 and i wish i spent the money on something else. Another thing is the back of the phone where there is a metal... Read review

...Brought the Siemens SL55 from T-mobile at the begining of February for a very good deal. The price of the phone in a tmobile store is £139.99. T-mobile had offered me £50 off any phone if i continued my contract for another year, which made the price £89.99. I looked on the t-mobile web site and found i could get the phone for £69.99 if i broke my contract and took up a new one!! I phoned up customer services and explained this to them, and they finally offered me the phone for £49.99!!
