...I chose to get a personal mini disc player because of recommendations from my friends . I looked at two specific makes of player one was sony and the other was Sharp,the Sharp I found was better priced than the Sony player but lacked none of the features the md-mt15h is one of the smallest and smartest players available I am always recording music from one place or another, mainly computer,tv,radio, you can record from anywere with this versitile machine. The player has full editing functions you can earase songs, combine or split up songs into different sections if you wish with can be very handy you can move songs so that they play in a diffrent order. There is nothing I can think of bad point to say about it I would recommend it to anybody looking for a top performing player with crystal clear sound, why buy sony for more money... Read review

...as a dictaphone or karaoke recorder. The sound quality is brilliant time after time. It has the ability to do allsorts of things like edit names of songs, merge songs, move songs, delete songs and plenty more. It also has a feature which I just love and that is synchronised recording. You wire up the MD before you start recording, press record and the sync button and as soon as any music starts playing at the source it automatically records, it even marks it off and starts the next song when it hears a space longer than around 1-2 seconds which is great for continual recording so you dont have to keep setting it up. One brilliant thing that can be done with them is that if you have a PC, download MP3's and have an MP3 player program you can record the songs to your MD by plugging it into the sound card which means no more paying for music, but I do... ...I'd been thinking about buying a mini-disc player for a while, but I objected to paying such a vast amount of money when I already had a discman and a walkman. It was just after Christmas and so I was feeling particularly loaded. I walked past dixons and saw the mini-disc players in the window, and I just decided to go for it! There are many advantages of the mini disc over the CD. For instance, they are smaller and less bulky and so easier to use on the run. Also they do not jump and damage the tracks with the slightest movement. The mini disc also has all the qualities of a CD which gives it the advantage of the cassette. Although a little extravagant, the mini disc was a good buy and I would recommend it to anyone with a little extra cash!! ... Read review
