I work for a medical billing service I am the team leader for the scanning dept for this company. When I started working there about 7 yrs ago we were using this small scanner, at that time using the small scanners were ok but as the company grew in size so did the medical records & correspondence that needed to be scanned so the company decided to change the little scanners for the much larger ones that scan several hundred pages per mintue.
