My old scanner is now broken! It was a little-known brand, such Boeder (bought by my brother) and I both struggled to find the drivers. That is why this time I chose myself and I bought hp, brand that I trust because I found good with the computer from which I am writing.
This scanner is one of the latest types of hp: I read the features on the site of the manufacturer, the design was attractive and so I decided to do this.
It 's a flatbed scanner ... ...anything you want. Its maximum resolution is 2400x4800 dpi, connects through via USB 2.0 and what should not be underestimated, is compatible both with normal PC with the Mac, which is not just because not all external hardware that work for PC should be good for other systems.
Its dimensions are roughly those of other scanners: 45x6.5x28.7 cm and weighs about 3 kg.

I bought this scanner to replace an old clunker I'd had with my ancient computer. When I found that my old scanner wouldn't even work with Windows XP drivers, I found it was time to replace it.
I've been quite happy with this simple little scanner. It gets the job done! It's quick, which is a huge advantage over my old one, usually taking barely 20 seconds or so to scan a full page. It also has nice features such as backlight correction and removal ... ...very nice feature is that it can scan several small items, crop them, and rotate them properly in your scanning software. For example, you can toss several business cards on there, tell it to multi-scan, and then you'll end up with all the business cards scanned, rotated, and cropped into neat little images without you having to do all the work manually. I work for a medical billing service I am the team leader for the scanning dept for this company. When I started working there about 7 yrs ago we were using this small scanner, at that time using the small scanners were ok but as the company grew in size so did the medical records & correspondence that needed to be scanned so the company decided to change the little scanners for the much larger ones that scan several hundred pages per mintue. I would ... ...if the image is not clear then immdeiately you can go back & adjust the image quality but with the larh=ger scanner I have to have my mangaer delete teh record then I have to re-scan the record .
We still use these scanners for the correspondence that needs to be scanned ...

I work for a medical billing service as a scanner & I use this document scanner every single day, this scanner scans a few hundred pages per minute very fast if you have a very large volume of medical records as this company does. We can scan abiut 3000 to 4000 medical records in an 8 hour period.
