This is an ok scanner if you need or want something really simple that isn't going to cost much. It gets the job done. Just don't have a large range of features. It is really easy and simple to use and operate. Doesn't take long to hook it up to computer at all. It scans pretty good and doesn't take as long as other products. Overall though, it really does everyhing you need, even documents with ease and for the money (under $100) is great,It's unbelievable that one can buy a scanner as good as this for such a small price. I bought this scanner to replace an old clunker I'd had with my ancient computer. When I found that my old scanner wouldn't even work with Windows XP drivers, I found it was time to replace it. I've been quite happy with this simple little scanner. It gets the job done! It's quick, which is a huge advantage over my old one, usually taking barely 20 seconds or so to scan a full page. It also has nice features such as backlight correction and removal ...
...very nice feature is that it can scan several small items, crop them, and rotate them properly in your scanning software. For example, you can toss several business cards on there, tell it to multi-scan, and then you'll end up with all the business cards scanned, rotated, and cropped into neat little images without you having to do all the work manually.
