Advantages Fairly small size Disadvantages the phone in general
...I bought one of these for my fiance and I wish I hadn't bothered.
The layout was poor and whole phone was a mess. Kept turning itself off or just would not let me access any options at all. Then it would be fine for a few weeks, and then we would have these problems all over again.
In short dont bother with this phone. Better off paying an extra £20 - £30 and getting a decent Nokia for example that will do what you want it to.
I have tried to sell this phone since and quess what.... nobody is interested in it.
Honestly go for a Nokia or Samsung, I recommend the Samsung T100 or the Nokia 3100 and the 7250i. Both great phones and priced fairly....

Advantages Beautifully presented color screen Disadvantages sometimes earpiece volume can be low even when turned up to maximum
...I have had the much touted Samsung T100 now for 3 months and I simply must take my hat off to Samsung for presenting what I feel is the best color phone on the market. The phone is easy enough to navigate around, the display is bright, big and colorful. I even went as far downloading the wife's picture on it which was very easy to say the least. My only negative would be that sometimes the earpiece gets very low despite being turned up to the max but don't let that deter you. This is the benchmark for all phones to follow for the future and can Samsung top this? We shall see. I certainly can't wait to see the next step up from this phone....

Advantages Small, Light, Reliable Disadvantages Getting a bit old now
...I have had two of the 8310s now, each for a year (one of which I use as my standby phone in case of problems, and the other my other half uses on a day-to-day basis). Both phones have been absolutly brilliant, with no problems encountered.
They are light, packed with features for their age and reliable. I initially upgraded to one of these from the 8210, which had been troublesome on a few occasions, and was instantly pleased with the model.
The screen has changed from the horrible green lighted ones used on the 8210s and previously, to a nice white, easy to look at display. I had no problems with the intial phone and, on expiration of my contact, I opted for a Samsung T100, which was a bad move as within a week I had returned the Samsung and purchased one of these to replace it.
I have since upgraded to a 7250i and had tons...
