I first purchased this phone in Feb 2006. I still have this phone today (06/19/08) although it is not the exact phone I purchased from Sprint back in 06, and the reason for that is I have had 2 previous of the same kind, they have been replaced under warranty. My experience with the phone has been excellent. The signal is always acceptable, the construction of the phone is one of the finest I have ever had. It can withstand all kinds of abuse. The tools the phone has, calendar, alarm, camera, video camera etc. are all excellent as well. I frequently use the video camera to look behing the washer to see if I have dropped anything! Very handy gadget.
The phone seems to have a life of about 1 year, hence my previous replacements under warranty, which so far everytime has been an easy task. (with Sprint that is. see my review) So if you decide on this phone always keep an eye on the phone performance as you close in on your one year ownership, I have noticed it does start doing crazy things and that is the cue that it is time for a new one. The crazy things that happen are, the pictures the camera takes are like green xrays, and when you receive text messages they are displyed multiple times on the list, these are minor issues, as the phone itself still works in spite of them. I personally want all options on any product I have to work when I need them. I am thankfull for warranties!
