In a recent move, my age old TV didn't survive, leaving me with the mind-boggling task of TV shopping. I had a specific price range and knew that I wanted an up-to-date HDTV, so after hours of looking at various TV's, I decided to buy this one, which was reasonably priced to be an HDTV and was also a flat screen. I didn't need a huge TV, so I went with a 32 inch Samsung LN. I was excited to get it home, unload it and plug it in.
When I got it home, I was impressed that it didn't weigh alot and I could easily unload it from my car. The installation of this TV was fool-proof and I had it hooked up in minutes. Once I was plugged into the TV world, I was dissapointed in the picture quality. The colors weren't even that realistic. I read through the owner's manual and had all the settings configured the way the manufacturer recommends and the picture quality was still not to my liking. I gave the TV a chance for a few days, but by the third day, I ended up taking the TV back to where I bought it and got my money back.
This TV would be great for a child or a teenager that doesn't pay much attention to picture quality, but as an adult, I'd rather end up pay a hundred dollars more for a Visio or Sony. I've always been impressed by Samsung products, but feel that TV's aren't their forte.
