Since Amazon doesn't take PayPal, the question I immediately had after joining this site was: what am I going to use my earnings here for? I was first introduced to Barnes and Noble by their book store. There are three Barnes and BNoble book stores in walkable distant from where I live. Barnes and Noble is the dominating book store in NYC-then I was introduced their website, and needless to say - I love it. Advantages: Easy to navigate, feels like their retail store
Disadvantages: Membership is needed for best prices

While it's difficult to replicate the feel of a retail store in an online store, Barnes and Noble does a pretty good job. Their color scheme of forest green and tan is quite evident throughout their web site. Roaming around the site makes one comfortable. The only things that are missing are the classical music in the background and the smell of coffee (the one that I visit has a Starbucks Coffee attached). Barnes and nobles website is their online presense of their brick and mortar store obviously. As I understand it they used to be in bed with another online company to sell books for them, but now are doing things themselves. I have purchased from there once.
